The 50 Best Places to Travel – Wherever you travel, there is always a reason to celebrate. Whether you want to celebrate your retirement, take a sabbatical break or embark on a cross-country vacation, there’s always something to celebrate about. One of my absolute favorite places to travel is London. I love going to all three areas in London – Financial District, Mayfair and Bloomsbury.
It used to be that London was known as the city of oysters but these days it has expanded to encompass some of the best and most authentic shopping districts in the world. You can get anything from designer frocks at Harrods and Marks & Spencer to some of the finest chocolates at Bakes & Company. For top end evening entertainment, I love heading to one of the many nightclubs such as Fabric and Webster. The New London venue, The Forum, is another fantastic nightspot with great drinks and a glamorous line up of music to match. I love heading out to some of the nightclubs such as Fabric in Camden Town as it’s such an exclusive atmosphere.
London is also host to one of the largest Olympic Games ever held in its history, so you can travel to the event venues if you wish. I’ve been to the Opening Ceremony and the relay for the London 2021 games. If you love sports, I highly recommend the Cross drained from west London – it’s the perfect place to beat the traffic. I’ve also been to the London Aquarium, which is located in Southhall. The Aquarium is a great place to learn about the marine ecosystem and hopefully instill a bit of environmental awareness amongst my fellow travellers! London has much to offer regardless of what you’re looking for and I hope this article motivates you to make the most of your next trip to the land of the city of London!
