Trip Inspiration can come in the form of a novel, a travel magazine, a travel movie or even watching a travel show full of wild, crazy escapades so entertaining to re-enact along with your friends (just not that death-defying escapades of course). However, one of the most useful tools you can use to gain inspiration for your next road trip is something called a travel log. A travel log is essentially just like a to-do list for your road trip. All you do is add things you’d like to do on your trip, and note when you’ve done them or if you still need to do them.
Some people use their Trip Inspiration to plan short trips around a particular destination. For example, they could list places they want to visit in Asia, cross the Pacific, visit Europe, or head to the West Coast. Others use the Trip Inspiration system to plan multi-week trips around a particular destination. These are ideal for people who have enough money to take a long trip, but not enough time to do it. They could list their hotels, activities, eating places, transportation, etc in a customised travel app for their iPhone, wear a shirt with their destination’s shirt design printed on it, and take a photo of themselves with their Trip Inspiration outfit at the airport before their flight.
With this method, people can keep track of their short-term travel plans, those trips that are already underway, and those trips that still haven’t taken off yet. A lot of travelers find that they are more productive and creative after a good night’s sleep, so it’s no surprise that we tend to look to our Trip Inspiration pages for inspiration during these dark winter nights. It’s also a great idea to keep a copy of your favourite photo in your phone, to check your progress during your day and evening trips. The possibilities are endless.
